WINDOWS 10 - ADVANCEMENT WITH BACKWARD COMPATIBILITY

Previously in Windows Vista, 7 and 8 there was a huge problem of backward compatibility of software and hardware. Only that software and hardware was compatible which Microsoft has certified or lastest in terms of time.

If you have to run older softwares such as LOGO, C, C++, MOBILE FLASHING UTILITIES, some old hardwares etc. then there were two ways to do such things.

First, apply some hacks. Secondly, use Windows XP.

But as Microsoft advanced in terms of Windows 8.1 and upcoming Windows 10 this problem just dissolved somewhere!!

Take example of Windows Vista and Windows 7; you need a particular amount of RAM to run your windows smoothly. But even after installing required hardware like RAM etc. PC used to get slower.

But this problem is not seen in Windows 8.1.

This version of Windows with 1GB RAM. It worked good as compared to Windows 7 with 2 GB of RAM. Stability increased.

Windows 8.1 worked very well or you can say very good with a Compaq laptop purchased in 2008 having the following configurations:
1. 2.4 GHz Dual Core Intel
2. 2 GB RAM
3. 320 GB HDD

Now take the example of upcoming Windows 10. It is as good as Windows 10.1 in terms of hardware compatibilty. Though this version of Windows has not been used personally yet but internet reviews are very good. It also worked very good even at lower version of laptop with small processor like atom.
